The Electronic Health Record (EHR) is becoming a key tool
in patient care and resource management in Health Care as the limitations of
paper records are being recognized. This site has therefore been created to help
all healthcare professional disciplines understand the nature and progress of
its evolution and to help them understand the EHR’s many dimensions and
implications. The intended audiences are each healthcare professional
specialty discipline and those supporting disciplines that comprise the
healthcare community. It is intended to organize the numerous perspectives in
such a way that the viewer can easily navigate to the subject of current
interest.
